Weiss Jewelry Company History.
Weiss Co was founded by Albert Weiss in 1942. The New York based company offered high quality jewelry with Austrian rhinestones and traditional designs. His son Michael took over the business and ceased operations in 1971. Some of the designs exhibit pave ribbons of icing similar to Eisenberg.

Beautiful Vintage Christmas Tree Brooch by Weiss.
True vintage NOT a reproduction!
Weiss made this tree as well as a similar tree with floral-shaped stones. (see books by Mary Morrison p.80 and Nancy Trowbridge p.156).
It has the oval with WEISS stamped on the back.
The tree is crossed by 4 raised braided garlands and cut to the back with S-shaped scrolls. It is brushed gold tone with 15 multicoloured rhinestones, some iridescent.
It measures 2.5"
Weiss was known for the quality of the rhinestones used.
This tree would make a wonderful addition to any Christmas tree collection.
